In particular, Uriel can assist us in balancing worldly and physical needs so that they are neither neglected nor given an importance that leads us to imbalance and deficiency in other areas. Our physical bodies are of the same source as our spiritual bodies and therefore deserve the same esteem and respect we afford those aspects of ourselves that are more spiritual, mental and emotional in nature. The body has basic requirements in order to realise its health-full potential. Archangel Uriel can assist us in achieving fullness of health on a physical level. Combined with work with the other Archangels, this can lead us to develop a new sense of wholeness as we realise a deeper level of our potential. Connecting with Archangel Uriel to Release Pain & Overcome Limiting Beliefs Call upon Archangel Uriel to assist in releasing the pain and prejudices of the past. Allow him to work with you to achieve a greater freedom by letting go of old belief patterns that have become restrictive to you. For example, in childhood you may have experienced a lack of financial security demonstrated by your parents; in turn, the belief in lack may seem intrinsic to you and go without question. This limiting belief can in turn prevent you from achieving financial security and through the ‘assumption’ of lack, you continue to manifest that deficiency in your own life. This is just one example. But limiting beliefs can come in so many aspects that they can end up restricting us in all areas of our lives; and we can end up living a life of compromise that we do not question at all, rather than embracing a life of fulfilment and prosperity. Other examples of limiting beliefs that are very common are: • “I am getting old so I am getting ill” • “My memory isn’t what it was” • “I am working class” • “I am overweight because it runs in my family” • “I will get arthritis when I hit 50 because my mother did” • “Exercise is hard” • “I have less energy than I used to have” • “Life is difficult” • “I’m not clever enough to do what ‘so and so’ does” • “Dogs don’t like me” The list is endless! But you can see that these rather mundane and common negative beliefs can cause all kinds of restriction in our lives that we take for granted. If we believe hard enough that we will get sick, we will. If we believe that something is hard, it will be. If we believe that we are not clever, we won’t be. If we believe our memory is deteriorating, we will allow it to. All of these things can be changed at least to some extent by being open to the possibility of good things. How to Change Negative Thinking & Overcome Blocks to Success In day to day life this can seem an alien concept! We’re bombarded with bad news and advertising that promises some kind of redemption from our struggles and problems in life. But this doesn’t give us a true reflection of life. Why is it that if something is bad, we find it easier to believe and accept than something that is good? I think with many people it is a case that a fundamental limiting belief that they are not good enough or not worthy of good things is restricting them from allowing good things to manifest in their lives; it can seem much easier to give love than to receive it; it’s easy to give gifts but sometimes feels awkward to receive them. In order to receive good things, we need to ensure we have the capacity to do just that. And we do this by releasing our resistance to those things and ensuring we cultivate the esteem required that we feel worthy to receive goodness. Archangel Uriel can support and guide us through this process, opening us to a more fulfilling and abundant future.
