Light-Language & Light-Codes: Your Questions Answered What is Light-Language & How is it Expressed? Light-language is a modern term for an ancient understanding of a cosmic reality. When energy workers, healers & mystics refer to “The Light” we are referring to the sacred energetic signature of all things. Everything we can see and everything we can’t see within this Universe is connected by a single source; that source can be considered “The Light”. But it’s not a light that’s visible to the physical eye. In fact, to many people, the Light seems too ephemeral and ethereal to be considered “real”. However, the existence of The Light within all things doesn’t depend on our ability to perceive it. It is the unifying force that underpins & prospers all of creation. We all carry The Light within us & The Light is expressed through our lives. All of our choices, actions, interactions & relationships reflect exchanges of energy or Light. Everything we do is part of our own unique “Light-Language”. To understand this phenomenon, consider the idea that “regular” language is the means by which we express ourselves. It’s the way we communicate our inner thoughts by translating them into words. Those words may never be spoken but only contemplated in our minds; they might be written down, spoken or sung. But language isn’t only about words; it's about communication & that encompasses a lot more avenues for expression. Our inner words might also find expression though creative projects, artwork or dance. Light-Language is similar to regular language in that it encompasses all aspects & angles of our expressive output. Light- Language is the expression of our inner light; our spiritual source or soul. It can be expressed through our words, thoughts, ideas, intentions, writing, art, dance, creativity, relationships & everything we do in our lives. But even if we’re not conscious of it, it’s being expressed continually through us. On an energetic level, every human soul is shining all day, every day and for all time! All things in creation derive from The Light & share the same phenomenon of holding a sacred & spiritual source within them. This Light communicates with the world on an energetic level. Everything you see around you is also shining all day, every day & for all time! The earth itself, the trees, flowers, stars, celestial bodies, oceans & all are singing their own unique sacred song all day, every day & for all time. How Can I Learn Light-Language? Learning Light-Language isn’t about learning techniques to develop skill in “glossolalia”. This term refers to the phenomenon of “speaking in tongues” that’s popular in some Christian traditions. Glossolalia can be a powerful technique to break from your conscious awareness & thinking mind in order to tap into your unconscious mind. It can also be a powerful way to enter trance for performing magick. But glossolalia isn’t the most effective expression of Light- Language. If you feel drawn to experiment with glossolalia as a technique, I recommend you spend some time developing your conscious awareness of The Light within in order to increase your awareness of how your light-language is currently being expressed first. Where do you put your energy? What moves you? Are there locations you feel more tuned-in to your soul? Look at the way your Light-Language is expressed currently & increase your awareness of it through regular spiritual practice & energy work. Then you can explore other techniques or enhance your channelling ability with relevant attunements (which I’ll cover later in this article) with some understanding of what you’re experiencing! Light-Language is your soul harmonising with everything around you. It’s the unique song of your soul translated from higher levels of consciousness & high vibrational rates, into a lower frequency that allows some definition & expression. It is the manifestation of the eternal within the temporal realms. Wherever you put your attention, you share your Light & create opportunities for your soul to find greater & more authentic expression in your life. What are Light-Codes & How Can I Activate Them? Light-Codes are the unique “songs” or expressions of Light-Language that arise, evolve & dissolve as all things in creation interact with all other things in creation. We can connect with healing energy by consciously communing with the Light around us. A good way to do this is to go out into nature & experience the sacred songs of the natural world. I’ve always found trees to be particularly effusive in their communication but connecting with the sea, flowers, grass, the sky, the sun, the moon & the stars can help you to fine-tune your gift. Every part of creation has a unique song & spending time in nature, listening to & experiencing the soul-song emanating from the world around you can move you to share your soul-song too, creating a conscious energetic flow or communication that’s intentional, powerful & deeply healing.
