Salient terms & conditions of sale; a summary

• Fees are non-refundable in the event that you do not complete your chosen course. Once course materials are issued, should you change your mind or fail to complete the course for any reason the fee is not refundable.

• Course materials are issued by pdf format by email.

• All student support is via email and all attunements are distance attunements send either in real time (scheduled) or prepared in advance using the Chi Ball/Orb of Life method depending on the student’s preference.

• Should you arrange a scheduled attunement and then change this appointment within 48 hours of the appointment, you will be subject to a £20 administration fee. If you fail to meet the appointment and it goes ahead at the arranged time, a ‘re-attunement’ can be arranged for £20 administration fee plus £20 for the additional time. You will be invoiced for £40 by paypal in this instance and certification cannot be issued until you have completed the course and received your attunement.

• Should you default on an arrangement for a personalised course package, you may be restricted in the option being made available in future. An arrangement/contract for a personalised package is made when you send in an order for one and are invoiced by me. If you default on this arrangement, the offer of personalised packages and the discounts they incur would be withdrawn for future.

• Please note that if you default on a payment arrangement that is being paid in instalments, the balance will become due for payment in full with an additional £20 administration fee. Payments are due within 7 days of the scheduled payment date each month. Again,, should you default on a payment contract, the offer with be withdrawn for future.

• Mayastar and Maya (Anna May) are accredited; this accreditation extends to the course materials provided that are independently assessed for quality and assures the student my own credentials and written materials have been assessed too. This means certification issued is accredited as every Mayastar course is accredited. However, this accreditation applies to Mayastar and Maya (Anna May), so if you wish to teach and be accredited by the INHA, WMA or any other organisation, you would need to apply for this accreditation independently; Mayastar certification qualifies a person to attune others but it does not bequeath accreditation on behalf of another organisation.
   

Mayastar do not provide religious instruction; all courses are for educational purposes only and relate to attunement based energy healing systems and attunement based systems of spiritual development.

All Mayastar manuals as well as attunements/empowerments/ initiations are passed on as part of a number of energy work modalities. They are passed on in the spirit of love and light and called in by the recipient to ensure attunements are only ever received in accordance with the free will of the recipient. It is the recipient’s sole responsibility to accept these attunements by conscious statement of their intention to do so. Mayastar Academy accept no responsibility for any actual or alleged outcome of any attunement, empowerment or initiation.

Whilst some graduating students of Mayastar Academy courses are professional medical practitioners, the majority have no medical qualifications or formal medical training. Ability and competence is not assured by graduation or certification provided by Mayastar Academy. Mayastar Academy make no representations or warranties that graduates of Mayastar Academy are professional, ethical, skilled or competent healers, practitioners, advisors, counsellors, spiritual facilitators or teachers.

Mayastar Academy courses are provided for educational purposes only and use of the material and communications provided is at the student's sole responsibility and at their own risk; Mayastar Academy accepts no responsibility for the actions of current or former students. Mayastar Academy accepts no responsibility or liability for loss or damages, caused or alleged to have been caused by current or former students.

Advice and information provided through the Mayastar Academy website and distributed through Mayastar Academy courses or communication as a result of enquiries made to Mayastar Academy is for information and educational purposes only. Mayastar Academy accept no responsibility for loss or damages, directly or indirectly, caused or alleged to have been caused as a result of your use or reliance on the information provided through Mayastar Academy websites, courses, newsletters, forums or communications of any type.

Authorisation by us to link to our websites is given without assumption of any liability by us relating to such links, and we hereby disclaim any such liability. We reserve the right to withdraw any authorisation to link to our websites at any time and for any reason.
 

Anyone providing access to, or information relating to Mayastar Academy whether by link or otherwise, is responsible for bringing these terms of use to the attention of the person receiving such access or information. Failure to do so will not result in liability for us.

No Warranties
Mayastar Academy makes no representations or warranties with respect to the contents of its websites, courses or communications, which are provided for use "as is”. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including without limitation the implied warranties of title, competence, capability, quality and fitness for a particular purpose, with respect to all Mayastar publications, courses, websites and communications of all types. We also make no representations or warranties as to whether the information accessible via our website or any website with which it is linked, is accurate, complete, or current. You accept that Mayastar Academy, Mayastar Academy students and Mayastar Academy graduates other Mayastar Academy representatives shall have the benefit of this clause.

Your statutory rights as a consumer, if any, are not affected by these provisions, and we do not seek to exclude or limit liability for fraudulent misrepresentation.

Exclusion of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable laws we exclude liability for any losses and expenses of whatever nature and howsoever arising including, without limitation, any direct, indirect, special, punitive, or consequential damages, loss of use, loss of data, loss caused by a virus, loss of income or profit, loss of or damage to property, claims of third parties, or other losses of any kind or character, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages or losses, arising out of or in connection with the use of our websites or any websites with which they are linked. Visitors to our websites assume total responsibility for establishing such procedures for data back up and virus checking as they consider necessary.

Modification and Discontinuation
We reserve the right at any time and from time to time to modify, edit, delete, suspend or discontinue, temporarily or permanently the websites of Mayastar Academy (or any portion thereof) and/or the information, materials, products and/or services available through these websites (or any part thereof) with or without notice. You agree that we shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any such modification, editing, deletion, suspension or discontinuance of our websites.

Entire Understanding
These terms of use contain the entire understanding between you and us with respect to all communication and services of Mayastar Academy included but not limited to, websites, emails, course materials, articles, manuals and leaflets. No representation, statement, inducement (oral or written), not contained herein shall exempt any party from the terms of use here specified. Should any part of these terms for any reason be declared invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, such determination shall not affect the validity of any remaining portion of these terms of use and such remaining portion shall remain in full force and effect as if the invalid portion of these terms had been eliminated.

Collection of Personal Data Including E-mail Addresses
Student and membership records are held by Mayastar Academy. For the purposes of requests to validate graduation by third parties, in the circumstance that a third party is able to provide us with the student's name or student reference, qualification conferred and the date of this achievement, we will provide confirm or deny as applicable the validity of the asserted qualification.

Use of Personal Data
We process your personal data only for specific and limited purposes. We ask only for data that is adequate, relevant and not excessive for those purposes.

We may contact you occasionally to inform you of new services we will be providing, or events or articles we think will be of interest to you.

We may send you requested information, certificates and course related material.

We may use your personal data internally to help us improve our services and to help resolve any problems.

Disclosure of your Personal Data
We do not share, sell or distribute your personal data with unrelated third parties, except under these limited circumstances:

We endeavour to handle such data properly and in accordance with our security protocols and strict standards of confidentiality. Although we cannot guarantee against any loss, misuse, unauthorised disclosure, alteration or destruction of data, we try to prevent such unfortunate occurrences.
